Beverage Formulation Services

We develop drinkable products from a concept to an ingredient-precise formula that real suppliers can fill, at a cost that survives your target retail price.

Concept development

A beverage brief usually arrives as a benefit and a vibe. The first job is converting that into specifications: format and fill volume, serving size, dose targets for anything you intend to claim, sweetness level, acidity, color direction, distribution channel and target retail price. Those numbers constrain everything downstream, which is why they get fixed before any bench work.

Functional ingredients

Actives drive the product and the problems. Each one has to be evaluated for solubility in your matrix, dose at your serving size, taste contribution, interaction with other actives, behavior at your target pH and availability at your volume. Branded ingredients add documentation and, often, a minimum that matters more than the price per kilo.

Where an ingredient can't carry its intended dose in your format without wrecking taste or clarity, we say so early and propose alternatives — a different salt form, a microencapsulated version, a different active, or a change in serving size.

Flavor and sweetener systems

Flavor work in functional beverages is mostly masking work. Bitterness from botanicals and amino acids, astringency from polyphenols, metallic notes from minerals, and the lingering sweetness of high-intensity sweeteners all have to be managed together rather than one at a time.

  • Sweetener selection: sugar, allulose, stevia, monk fruit, sucralose and blends
  • Bitterness and astringency masking
  • Acid selection: citric, malic, phosphoric and blends for a shaped sourness curve
  • Mouthfeel and body, including gum and fiber systems
  • Aroma balance for the container the product opens from

pH, Brix and stability

pH
Drives microbial safety approach, preservative efficacy, flavor perception and ingredient stability. Shelf-stable acidified products generally target below 4.6, and many beverages sit far lower.
Brix
Soluble solids, a proxy for sweetness and body. Controlled Brix makes batches repeatable and gives your process a check it can actually run.
Stability
Separation, sedimentation, color shift, flavor fade, active degradation and package interaction, evaluated over the shelf life you intend to print.

Sourcing, costing and samples

A formula without suppliers is a wish list. Every input gets vetted vendors, requested documentation and negotiated pricing and minimums, then a line-item cost build against your target economics. Physical samples are developed and shipped so the decision happens on taste, not on a spreadsheet.

Commercialization

You finish with a formula specification, supplier list with negotiated terms, the cost build and procurement-ready documentation. Process authority letters and nutritional testing are available as add-on services when your product and process require them.
