Cognition & Focus Product Development
The focus category rewards restraint. Fewer ingredients at real doses beat long panels at token amounts — commercially as well as ethically.
Roster discipline
A long ingredient list is cheap to design and expensive to defend. It also spreads your ingredient budget so thin that nothing reaches a meaningful amount. We start from the two or three inputs that will actually carry the product, size the serving format around their dose and solubility, and treat everything else as optional.
Development considerations
- Dose arithmetic against serving size before any bench work
- Solubility limits for inputs that need hundreds of milligrams
- Caffeinated and caffeine-free lines developed as separate formulas
- Bitterness and earthiness masking without heavy sweetening
- pH sensitivity of several common cognitive inputs
- Branded ingredient documentation, licensing and minimums
- Perceptible onset cues in caffeine-free builds
Format arithmetic
If the dose target exceeds what a 2 oz shot can dissolve and mask, the honest options are a larger format, a lower dose, a different ingredient form or a powder. Pretending otherwise produces either a gritty product or a label that overstates what's in the bottle. The arithmetic gets settled first.
Claims posture
Products are developed to support focus, attention and mental clarity. We do not develop toward claims of treating attention disorders, preventing cognitive decline or affecting any diagnosed condition.
