How it works

From Idea to a Production-Ready Formula

A defined process with a defined end point. You choose the clock at the start, and the deliverables are the same regardless of which one you pick.

  1. 01

    Concept

We start with the product you're trying to put in someone's hand: what it is, who buys it, what it needs to do and what it has to sell for. If the concept and the price point disagree, we say so now.

  2. 02

    Product Strategy

Format, serving size, dose targets, sweetness level, packaging direction and positioning. These decisions constrain every ingredient choice that follows, so they get made deliberately rather than by default.

  3. 03

    Formula

Actives at the dose you want to claim, then the system around them: flavor, sweetener, acid, buffering, solubility aids, preservation approach, pH and Brix targets. Compatibility and stability are evaluated as the formula is built, not after.

  4. 04

    Ingredients

Every input gets real suppliers attached. We qualify vendors, request documentation, gather samples and negotiate pricing and minimum order quantities against your projected volumes — with backup suppliers where availability is thin.

  5. 05

    Samples

Physical samples are developed and shipped so decisions get made on something you can actually taste. Revisions are targeted: sweetness, mouthfeel, bitterness masking, aroma, color.

  6. 06

    Costing

A line-item cost build for the finished formula, checked against your target retail economics and the minimums your suppliers quoted. If the math doesn't work, we reformulate toward the number.

  7. 07

    Commercialization Preparation

You receive the formula specification, supplier details and negotiated terms, the cost build and the supporting documentation your team needs to start procuring for the next stage of the launch.

What you receive

At hand-off you hold an ingredient-precise formula specification, a vetted supplier list with contact details and negotiated pricing and minimums, physical samples, a line-item cost build and the documentation to begin procurement. Fast Formula is a formulation and product-development firm — we develop the product and prepare it for the next stage of your launch.

What we need from you

The more specific your target, the faster the work moves. Useful inputs: the product concept, target consumer, must-have ingredients, desired format and serving size, target retail price, desired launch date and any existing formula or brand context. Not all of it is required to start — the intake form takes about a minute.

Timelines and the sample caveat

Standard runs three weeks, Expedited two, Rush one. Every timeline depends on suppliers sending ingredient samples inside the window. When a selected supplier can't, the scope doesn't change but the stated lead time isn't guaranteed — and we tell you as soon as we know, with alternative suppliers where they exist.
