Beverage Ingredient Sourcing

A formula is only as real as the suppliers behind it. We attach vetted vendors, negotiated pricing and workable minimums to every line on the spec.

Supplier identification and qualification

For each ingredient we identify suppliers who can serve your volume — not just the largest names in the category — and qualify them on documentation, specification match, lead time, consistency and willingness to work at a first-run scale. A supplier who is perfect at ten tonnes and uninterested at fifty kilos is not a supplier for your launch.

What vetting actually covers

Specification match
Confirming the material offered is the material the formula assumes: form, assay, particle size, carrier and solubility profile.
Documentation
Certificates of analysis, specification sheets, allergen and origin statements, and whatever your channel will later demand.
Lead time and reliability
How long the material actually takes, how consistent past supply has been, and where it ships from.
Batch consistency
Particularly relevant for botanical extracts, where variation between lots changes flavour and colour.
Alternative supply
A second identified source for anything single-sourced, so one supplier problem doesn't stop a launch.

MOQ negotiation

Minimum order quantities decide the size of your first cheque more often than unit price does. We negotiate minimums toward volumes you can genuinely absorb, look for broker or distributor routes where a direct manufacturer minimum is out of reach, and flag early when an ingredient's minimum makes the formula commercially unrealistic — because the right answer is sometimes a different ingredient.

Cost analysis and scalability

Every input is priced into a line-item cost build for the finished formula, checked against your target retail economics. We also look one step ahead: what the cost becomes at the second and third production run, and whether the supply base supports that growth without a reformulation.

What you receive

A supplier list with contacts, quoted pricing, negotiated minimums and lead times; the documentation gathered during vetting; identified alternatives; and the cost build. Your team can begin procuring from it directly.
